This course is intended to develop your knowledge and skills in Open Education and Open Pedagogy by exploring open practices, tools, and collaborative approaches to creating and sharing educational resources.
This program supports the development of foundational knowledge in Open Educational Resources (OER) and open pedagogy, while helping you expand your pedagogical practice through engagement with open publishing tools and open education concepts.
Yes! We have built in opportunities for synchronous interactions through our live, weekly, optional discussion sessions. These will give you an opportunity to interact with your peers, clear doubts about any specific topic with your program facilitator or just share your learning journey. Sessions will be held over Teams.
Every module includes required activities to help you apply what you have learned. At the end of the final module, there is a final assignment to complete the full course.
Upon successful completion of the required activities and the final assignment, you will be rewarded with the Open Education for French Teaching digital badge. Badges are issued via the BCdiploma platform.
