Yes! We have built in opportunities for synchronous interactions through our live, weekly, optional discussion sessions. These will give you an opportunity to interact with your peers, clear doubts about any specific topic with your program facilitator or just share your learning journey. Sessions will be held over Zoom. Download the schedule to get an idea of when the facilitated sessions will be occurring.
Throughout the Online Teaching Fundamentals course, you’ll work through four modules, engage in a range of activities in our Learning Management System, and use a downloadable course workbook for any activities and reflections. Exercises in the course include completing readings, interactive activities, and assessments. Successfully finishing all course components and submitting your course workbook results in earning the Online Teaching Fundamentals Micro-credential, which recognizes your skills in online teaching.
Badges are issued via the platform CanCred.
