Online Teaching Fundamentals Micro-Credential

Free for individuals from eCampusOntario member institutions which include Ontario postsecondary publicly funded colleges, universities and Indigenous institutes.

The Online Teaching Fundamentals Micro-Credential is designed to develop your skills as an online educator in post-secondary settings. The program focuses on the practical application of teaching strategies and the integration of technologies suited for online, hybrid, and HyFlex course deliveries. Engage with the narratives of four Ontario-based instructors, each facing unique challenges and milestones in their practice. As you progress, you will design learner-centric, inclusive, and engaging online courses using the latest educational technologies and assessments methods. Upon completion, you will earn a badge validating your skills in crafting effective online environments.

This program is designed to:

Sessions are not mandatory and are offered for each module in each season so you can start in the middle and pick up sessions in the next cohort.
